John Galliano First Sunglasses Collection

The prestigious creative director of Christian Dior, John Galliano, put his hands to sunglasses design. Recently he came up with his first sunglasses collection. As we all know in fashion circle John Galliano’s collection is always a visual feast. “Sunglasses are both an accessory and a supreme alibi,” Galliano said at the launch of the collection. “I wanted to create a new form of glamour and give my muses the power to interpret it fully.” This Galliano range of sunglass is mixed with his unique spirit of romance and innovation. Let’s have a look at the first tow styles, one for women named Les Biches and one for men named Beau Regard. Its large frame was inspired by the Spanish Peinetas, the intricate honeycomb fan that crowns the hair of the fiery flamenco dancers.
As Galliano said, “we wanted to create sunglasses that would be a reflection of the Galliao icon”. The two models have proved its distinctive design. the entire line, produce by Marcolin, will be released in Spring 2010.
